Guard father, his fly together

9 - Airline operational support detachment commander troupe 78th aviation control button, Georgia Army National Guard, spent the evening showing his son Daniel button army Adjutant company, 1st Battalion 171st aircraft to fly at night with night vision goggles in his preparation level of training.


Training requires a helicopter pilot to fly during the day and night and with NVGs unit-level certification. After the initial certification, pilots are required for flights NVG hour-long every 45 days.


"This is one of the moments in my life as a father proudest", said Gary Button. "This is the first time, my son and I are flying; not only as a father and son, but as a pilot and co-pilot.


Daniel Button, who has recently graduated from Japonesque Go Curl Eyelash Curler flight school said the ability to fly with his father is exciting and nerve-racking.


"I feel a little pressure flying with him for the first time", said the young button."I want to do well and make me proud."


I'm already so proud of you,"the eldest button told his son.


The mission is the youngest Button fly North towards the North Georgia mountains and once Sun has decreased, donning his NVGs and continue with the Button mission.Daniel should also fly in formation with other Black Hawks drivers wearing NVGs.


"I was to practice last night, so I feel confident flight tonight will go smooth", said jeune.Il button deploy you to Iraq with the 171 st later this automne.Il is its second first déploiement.Son was with the 82nd Airborne division as a doctor in 2004.Il has said he is enthusiastic about this time as a helicopter pilot deployment.
